Heirloom tomato seedling in a 4 inch pot

Mortgage Lifter is a more popular heirloom variety that was developed by M.C. Byles, who (in the 1940s) sold plants for $1 each and paid off the $6000 mortgage on his house. Wild. I grew this variety last year and it produced uniform, delicious fruits that made amazing tomato sandwiches!
